The network produced a booklet; “Sickle Cell – a guide for teachers” to try to help schools and teachers better understand the condition. A Transcranial Doppler Scan – child friendly leaflet has also been developed. If you would like a copy of either documents, please ask your local doctor or nurse for a copy as they are not available electronically.
