Voice

If you attend a Gender Identity Service and would like voice and communication help, you can be referred for Speech Therapy.

Speech Therapists work with people who would like to change their voice in relation to their gender identity.

Work would take place on pitch, pitch range, intonation patterns, voice quality and resonance, as well as non verbal communication.

The first meeting is an opportunity to get to know your speech therapist, and to explore what you want from therapy.

Sessions are supportive and confidential.
