Contact Us

Whilst the National Gender Identity Clinical Network Scotland (NGICNS) has a role in providing generic information in relation to trans-healthcare, we do not offer a clinical service and therefore cannot answer individual patient queries in relation to treatment options, waiting times or clinical care. A Gender Identity Clinic is best placed to answer your query. Your General Practitioner or local Sexual Health service may also be able to provide you with advice or signpost you to services.

Should you require mental health support this is available by:

• Contacting your GP during the day or an Emergency GP via NHS24 on 111 during the evening or at weekends. • Calling Breathing Space on 0800 83 85 87

• Contacting your local mental health crisis team or drop in centre.

• Calling the Samaritans on 116 123

If you are experiencing thoughts of suicide or self-harm, please seek support immediately by:

• Contacting your GP during the day or an Emergency GP via NHS24 on 111 during the evening or at weekends.

• Going to your local Emergency Department

• Calling the Samaritans on 116 123
