The Steering Group is a collection of biochemistry specialists who come together from across Scotland who provide strategic direction for the SCBN, agree its workplan and monitor its progress.
The Steering Group is composed of the following:
- Clinicians
- Scientific Managers
- A Programme Manager
- A Programme Support Officer
- The Laboratory Manager and Clinical Lead from each NHS Health Board
- Representatives from the Royal College of Pathologists,
Association for Clinical Biochemistry, Institute of Biomedical Science and other members co-opted to represent the various working groups.
