The Scottish Paediatric & Adult Infection & Immunology National Managed Clinical Network (SPAIIN) was established in 2011 to improve access to and the quality of services for children with HIV and Primary Immune Deficiency (PID).
The network was reviewed in 2016, and expanded its remit to include PID for both children and adults. The remit within infectious diseases was also expanded to include Hepatitis C and Hepatitis B.
