Mesothelioma Day 2026
We are excited to share that Action Mesothelioma Day (AMD) 2026 will take place on Friday 3 July 2026, and we’re inviting everyone to Go Blue for Meso by taking part in a Blue Light Walk.
What is Action Mesothelioma Day?
AMD is a national event dedicated to raising awareness of asbestos and mesothelioma, remembering those affected, and funding vital support and research.
Blue Light Walks
Last year, our Blue Light Walks were a huge success so we’re encouraging everyone to get involved again by taking part in a Blue Light Walk to show support, raise awareness, and fundraise for Mesothelioma UK. Walks can take place in parks, city centres, or anywhere people want to come together in solidarity – all while lighting up the streets in blue.
How You Can Get Involved
• Register your walk – Bring your community, workplace, friends and family together for a walk. You can register here by opening a fundraising page through our official campaign ➡️ Mesothelioma UK’s Blue Light Walks for AMD 2026 – JustGiving
• Choose a location – Pick a safe and accessible route that suits all abilities.
• Set a time and date – Action Mesothelioma Day is Friday 3 July, but you can walk whenever suits you around the day. • Gather your group *bold* – Invite friends, family, colleagues or your local community to take part.
• Go blue! – Wear blue clothing, use blue lights, or carry blue glow sticks to show your support!
