Subgroups support the work of the SCIN and focus on delivery of specific pieces of work.

SCIN Breast SLWG

The SCIN Breast Short life Working Group (SLWG) was established to agree a National Framework for Advanced Practice in Breast Care Imaging.

SCIN Special Interest Groups

SCIN have been working with relevant groups to establish a number of Special Interest Groups (SIG’s) for Radiology disciplines. 

SCIN MRI Safety Questions SLWG

The MRI Safety Questions Short Life Working Group (SLWG) was commissioned by SCIN to explore the feasibility of using standardised questions when making a referral for MRI examination as part of a ‘Once for Scotland’ approach. 

SCIN PET-CT

The PET-CT service is delivered in Scotland by four sites: Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Dundee, and Glasgow. The service is overseen by the SCIN PET-CT steering group, with representatives from each site and NSS.
