Quality Performance Indicators
Introduced for primary Brain/CNS tumours in Scotland in January 2014, Adult Neuro-Oncology QPIs are audited and reported on annually.
QPIs are developed collaboratively with the three Regional Cancer Networks (NCA, SCAN, WOSCAN), Public Health Scotland (PHS) and Healthcare Improvement Scotland (HIS). The aim is to improve survival and patient experience whilst reducing variation in care and ensuring safe, effective and person-centred cancer care.

Multi-disciplinary Teams
The 4 multi-disciplinary teams (MDTs) in Scotland also analyse their MDT activity on an annual basis.
