The Quality Performance Indicators (QPI) are developed collaboratively with the three Regional Cancer Networks (NCA, SCAN, WOSCAN), Public Health Scotland (PHS) and Healthcare Improvement Scotland (HIS). The aim is to improve survival and patient experience whilst reducing variation in care and ensuring safe, effective and person-centred cancer care. QPIs for Sarcoma in Scotland are audited and reported on each year.
Analysis of QPIs is essential in improving and driving continuous improvement in Sarcoma care.
