Scottish Mesothelioma Network Education Event – 28 October 2021

The Scottish Mesothelioma Network were delighted to hold our annual Education Event on Thursday 28 October 2021.

There was an exciting range of speakers who talked about all the latest developments in Scotland in the fields of trials and treatment and research including an update on the Scottish Mesothelioma Network (SMN) from Director Prof Kevin Blyth.  Latest information on Immunotherapy and Clinical Trials from Dr Melanie McKean, Consultant Oncologist in Lothian.  As well as a legal and compensation Q&A, patient stories, latest research and development from the Sheffield Mesothelioma Research Centre funded by our partners Meso UK, and new developments from the PREDICT-Meso and ASSESS-Meso Research teams at Glasgow University.
