About Us

The National Strategic Network for Long-Term Effects of COVID-19 was established in February 2022 to support local NHS boards and Health & Social Care Partnerships to deliver services for people with long COVID.

The Network aims to provide a national forum for sharing knowledge and information in this evolving area, and to support ongoing service planning & delivery, to meet the needs of the Scottish population.

We have set up a strategic framework that includes NHS board representatives, clinical experts for both adults and children, individuals with lived experience, and third-sector organizations. The Network is overseen by a Strategic Oversight and Programme Board (SO&PB), which connects key NHS national groups and organizations, and reports to the Scottish Government.
