Long COVID Support from Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland (9th July, 11am, Zoom)
Join the Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland at 11am on 9 July for another Long COVID Webinar, where we will hear from Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland about the services and support they provide for people living with chest, heart and stroke conditions and long COVID in Scotland. We will be joined by Dr Amy Small, Clinical Advisor, and Tracey Stronach, Advice and Support Practitioner, from CHSS who will share information about their free and confidential Advice Line service, as well as answer questions you might have about the support they can offer. The Advice Line offers a qualified, supportive listening ear and can assist you in a number of ways. Whether you’re newly diagnosed or have been living with a condition for years, the team can answer your questions and provide guidance tailored to your health needs. They offer emotional and mental wellbeing support, and can refer you to other Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland services such as Peer Support Groups, Kindness Calls, or Community Support Services. You can also be connected with a volunteer for ongoing support, receive health information booklets and factsheets by email or post, and be signposted to other organisations or services for further help.
