I’m happy to share the registration page for the Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland’s upcoming Long COVID Webinar, where we will hear about the latest research from University of Stirling that has mapped out the long COVID services available in Scotland (and where the gaps are), and demonstrate how to find these services using ALISS – A Local Information System for Scotland.

Edward Duncan and Elaine Robinson are researchers from the University of Stirling working in collaboration with the University of Glasgow and Long COVID Scotland on a project that looks at how people living with long COVID access primary care.

As part of this project, they wanted to find out what services are available for people with Long COVID in Scotland. To find out what was out there, they ran an online survey aimed at long COVID service providers, GPs and other health care workers, and those living with long COVID. They then uploaded the resulting information to ALISS (A Local Information System for Scotland).

At this webinar, they will discuss the results of the survey and what has been uploaded to ALISS. Cameron MacFarlane is the ALISS Programme Engagement Manager at the Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland (the ALLIANCE). Cameron will provide a demonstration of how ALISS helps people to find and share information about a range of services, groups and community assets that can support health and wellbeing, including the long COVID services identified by the University of Stirling.
