The Steering Group are a collection of haematology and transfusion specialists who come together from across Scotland who provide strategic direction for HaTS, agree its workplan and monitor its progress.
The Steering Group is composed of the following:
- Clinicians
- Scientific Managers
- A Programme Manager
- A Programme Support Officer
- Representatives from each NHS Health Board
- Representatives from the Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service.
- Representatives from professional organisations.
