CYANS Online Lecture Series 2023

Following the success of last year’s online lecture series, we are running another online lecture series in January 2023. These will be individual hour- long sessions that will be recorded and uploaded to YouTube afterwards for anyone that can’t make the session

The following topics have been identified:

  • “Thresholds for Allergic Reactions”, Shelly Dua from Addenbrookes will provide this talk about allergy from a scientific perspective. This topic is based on Shelly’s PhD subject and will take place on Monday 23rd January 2023 at 11am.
  • “New Pollen Food Syndrome: Guidance from BSACI”, Dr Isabel Skypala, who is a Consultant Allergy Dietician from BSACI will provide a session on the updated Pollen Food Syndrome Guidelines on Friday 27th January 2023 at 11am
  • “Food Allergy Diagnosis for Primary Care & General Paediatricians”, Anna Cockburn, who is the allergy lead in NHS Fife will provide a session on basic allergy diagnosis. This will take place on Wednesday 1st February at 11am.
  • “Suspected Anaphylaxis: Initial Management”, Adrian Sie, CYANS Lead Clinician will provide a session on the early management of suspected Anaphylaxis. This will take place on Friday 10th February at 11am.
