Whilst the Cleft Care Scotland network has a role in providing generic information in relation to cleft care, we do not offer a clinical service and therefore cannot answer individual patient queries in relation to treatment options, waiting times or clinical care. Please redirect your query to the National Cleft Lip and Palate Surgical Service in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde at ggc.cleftteamscotland@nhs.scot who may be able to help. Your General Practitioner or NHS Inform may also be able to provide you with advice or signpost you to services.
Cleft Care Services
Should you as a patient, or carer of a patient, have any concerns relating to cleft issues then you should contact the most relevant clinical team in your own Health Board area or from the team in the Health Board where you usually get such care (such services include Paediatric Dentistry / Orthodontics / Audiology / Ear Nose and Throat Surgery/ Speech and Language Therapy / Restorative Dentistry). If the issue relates to Cleft Surgery, Cleft Specialist Nursing or Cleft Psychology then please contact the national Cleft Surgical Service:
