Toby Gillgrass

Toby is a consultant orthodontist, based in Glasgow at the Glasgow Dental Hospital and Glasgow Children’s Hospital. He has been involved directly in cleft care for nearly 20 years, and is presently the Clinical Lead for the Cleft Surgical Service for Scotland and lead for the orthodontic Group for Cleft Care Scotland. Toby has previously been the Lead for the Cleft Care Scotland Network.
Toby is a member of Clinical Excellent Network for orthodontic cleft Care through the Cleft and Craniofacial society of Great Britain & Ireland and is currently with his colleague in Manchester lead for the 5yr BCLP yardstick scoring for GB&I. He represents The Cleft Surgical Service for Scotland on the Cleft Development Group (CDG), and is part of the Quality Monitoring Improvement Committee (QMIC) for the UK.
He is a former chair and presently serves on the Specialist Advisory Board for Orthodontics for the Royal College of surgeons of Edinburgh, as well as member of Specialist Advisory Committee (SAC) for orthodontics for the General Dental Council and a former member of Dental Council for Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Evelyn Dunbar
Consultant Orthodontist
Evelyn is currently a consultant orthodontist based at Dundee Dental Hospital and works together with the other members of the team on the Tayside multi-disciplinary cleft clinics. She completed her specialty training in orthodontics in 2018 and went on to undertake further training and was awarded a Fellowship in the Faculty of Dental Surgery with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2021. She works alongside the other members of the cleft team to provide advice and treatment in aligning the teeth and bite.
Louise Greene
Consultant Orthodontist
Louise is a Consultant Orthodontist and has worked in Forth Valley Royal Hospital since 2015. Louise carries out all aspects of orthodontic care for patients with cleft lip and palate, liaising closely with the Cleft Team. Louise also carries out orthodontic treatment for patients with missing teeth, impacted teeth, requiring jaw surgery and other severe malocclusions. Louise is an examiner for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and is involved in teaching and training of Orthodontic Trainees in Scotland.

Monica Padilla
Consultant Orthodontist – BMSc, BDS(Hons) MSc, MOrth, FDS Orth(RCS Edin)
Monica is a Consultant Orthodontist based at Raigmore Hospital, Inverness
Monica trained in Dundee, completing her orthodontic training in Leeds and Bradford, and taking on the role of Orthodontic Lead for the Yorkshire Cleft Lip and Palate service before moving to Highland in 2021.
Monica provides the orthodontic care for patients with CLP in the Highland region.
