The CEN Network Steering Group is comprised of a range of influential professionals from across Scotland. The purpose of the Steering Group is to set the focus, the strategic direction and the priorities for the CEN Network (which are often reflected in the Working Groups).
The remit of the NMCN CEN Steering Group is to support and direct the network by:
- Acting as an advisory group representing the views of key stakeholders and key working groups supporting and working with CEN and their wider families
- Taking responsibility for the direction, development, monitoring and evaluation of the progress of the network and the work allocated to its sub groups
- Actively promoting the NMCN CEN across agencies
- Providing a strategic and expert opinion to influence national policy and legislation and incorporate key objectives into our work.
- Members will cascade CEN information to other groups they are members of, as appropriate
