Kidney Kids Scotland works in close partnership with consultants, medical professionals, and welfare teams to identify where support is most urgently needed. Their efforts include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 offering financial assistance to families facing the challenges of a child\u2019s illness, without means testing, to help with travel, living expenses, and household essentials. (Initial referral from a medical practitioner or social worker) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 creating connections between families going through similar experiences, offering emotional support and a listening ear. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 providing essential medical equipment to hospitals across Scotland. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 funding key medical posts recognised as vital to improving care for young patients.
