It meets three times a year and is chaired by Dr Rohana Wright, Consultant in Endocrinology, NHS Lothian.&nbsp; The main objective for the group is to develop the strategic direction for the network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nn.nhs.scot\/speg\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/36\/2024\/10\/SPEG-Network-Terms-of-Reference.pdf\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.nn.nhs.scot\/speg\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/36\/2024\/10\/SPEG-Network-Terms-of-Reference.pdf\"><strong>Terms of Reference<\/strong><\/a> for the Steering group including its membership can be found from pages 9-12.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Subgroups  \/ Working groups<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The network has 5 subgroups \/ working groups that report into the Steering Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Clinical Guidelines subgroup<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Education subgroup<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nurses&#8217; subgroup<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quality Improvement subgroup<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Transition subgroup<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p class=\"nhsuk-card__description\">The Steering Group includes representatives from a multi-disciplinary team, patient representatives and the voluntary sector.
