On top of the usual life stress, it can sometimes feel overwhelming. Extra help and support can make a big difference. Everyone\u2019s experience is different, but some examples of the topics people discuss with a psychologist include: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Feeling overwhelmed by illness or hospital stays<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> \u2022 Difficulty with treatment routines<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> \u2022 Decision-making around treatments<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> \u2022 Feeling depressed or angry about your illness or treatment<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> \u2022 Struggles with family and personal relationships<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> \u2022 Challenges from receiving infected blood products for the individual or their family<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> \u2022 Worries about health or the future<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> \u2022 Family\u2013planning concerns<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> \u2022 Pain management<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> \u2022 Sleep problems<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> \u2022 Grief and bereavement This service is available for children, young people and adults with inherited bleeding disorders in Scotland.
