{"id":3888,"date":"2024-04-18T11:15:56","date_gmt":"2024-04-18T10:15:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nn.nhs.scot\/shpbn\/?page_id=3888"},"modified":"2025-09-02T11:46:54","modified_gmt":"2025-09-02T10:46:54","slug":"audit-2","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.nn.nhs.scot\/shpbn\/professionals\/audit-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Referrals"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Glasgow Centre Referrals<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To refer a patient with HepatoCellular Carcinoma (HCC) please email <a href=\"mailto:ggc.mdthccggc@nhs.scot\">ggc.mdthccggc@nhs.scot<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To refer a patient with cancer of the pancreas, gallbladder, duodenum, ampulla or bile duct to the Glasgow centre please contact the relevant department and request a referral form by emailing <a href=\"mailto:ggc.woshpbreferrals@ggc.scot.nhs.uk\">ggc.woshpbreferrals@ggc.scot.nhs.uk<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following information will be required:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Name of referring consultant;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Current performance status;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Current ward\/home;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Past medical history\/drug history;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Current bloods (LFT\u2019s, Us\u2019&amp;E\u2019s and FBC, PT).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tumour markers (HCC is AFP and HPB is CA19.9)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All imaging reports are required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Edinburgh Centre Referrals<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To refer a patient please download the appropriate HPB referral form\u00a0and email the completed form to<a href=\"mailto:loth.riehpbmdt@nhslothian.scot.nhs.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u00a0loth.riehpbmdt@nhslothian.scot.nhs.uk<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selective internal radiation therapy (SIRT) is available from this centre.&nbsp; Scottish patients can be referred  to&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:graeme.weir@nhslothian.scot.nhs.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">graeme.weir@nhslothian.scot.nhs.uk<\/a>&nbsp;and copy&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:loth.riehpbmdt@nhslothian.scot.nhs.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">loth.riehpbmdt@nhslothian.scot.nhs.uk<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Liver transplantation is available from this centre and please email referrals to&nbsp;SLTU@nhslothian.scot.nhs.uk.&nbsp;
