It enhances collaboration between all relevant disciplines \u2013 Neuro-Oncology, Neurosurgery, Neuropathology, Neuroradiology, and Radiation Oncology as well as Nursing \u2013 and aims at bridging science, knowledge and practice gaps in the management of CNS malignancies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">European Cancer Organisation (ECCO)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the philosophy that every cancer patient deserves the best, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecco-org.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">European Cancer Organisation (ECCO)<\/a> has been especially structured to better respond to the needs of its member organisations to reduce the burden of cancer, improve outcomes and the quality of care of cancer patients<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">European Organisation for Research &amp; Treatment of Cancer (Brain Group) (EORTC)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As an independent, non-profit cancer research organisation, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eortc.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">European Organisation for Research &amp; Treatment of Cancer (Brain Group) (EORTC)<\/a> mission is to coordinate and conduct international translational and clinical research to improve the standard of cancer treatment for patients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.esmo.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO)<\/a> is the leading European professional medical oncology organisation comprising a network of more than 5,000 oncology professionals in over 100 countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">European Society for Therapeutic Radiation Oncology (ESTRO)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Founded in 1980, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.estro.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">European Society for Therapeutic Radiation Oncology (ESTRO)<\/a> exists to advance all aspects of radiation oncology through a range of activities for its members and the wider healthcare and patient communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">International Brain Tumour Alliance (IBTA)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theibta.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">International Brain Tumour Alliance (IBTA)<\/a> was established during a conference of the World Federation of Neuro Oncology held in Edinburgh (UK) in May 2005.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">National Cancer Institute<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cancer.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">National Cancer Institute<\/a> coordinates the National Cancer Programme, which conducts and supports research, training, health information dissemination and other programmes with respect to the cause, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of cancer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Radiation Therapy Oncology Group (RTOG)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rtog.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Radiation Therapy Oncology Group (RTOG)<\/a> was initially organised in 1968 as a national clinical cooperative group for the purpose of conducting radiation therapy research and cooperative clinical investigations.&nbsp;
