{"id":2007,"date":"2019-10-07T15:37:02","date_gmt":"2019-10-07T14:37:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.shpbn.scot.nhs.uk\/?page_id=2007"},"modified":"2024-12-19T15:45:17","modified_gmt":"2024-12-19T15:45:17","slug":"audit","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.nn.nhs.scot\/sanon\/professionals\/audit\/","title":{"rendered":"Audit"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Quality Performance Indicators<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Introduced for primary Brain\/CNS tumours in Scotland in January 2014, Adult Neuro-Oncology QPIs are audited and reported on annually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>QPIs are developed collaboratively with the three Regional Cancer Networks (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhsscotlandnorth.scot\/nca\">NCA<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.scan.scot.nhs.uk\/\">SCAN<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.woscan.scot.nhs.uk\/\">WOSCAN<\/a>), Public Health Scotland (PHS) and Healthcare Improvement Scotland (HIS). The aim is to improve survival and patient experience whilst reducing variation in care and ensuring safe, effective and person-centred cancer care.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Analysis of QPIs is essential in improving and driving continuous improvement in Adult Neuro-Oncology care.
